Lunch boxLunch box is an experiment in a the creation of ad hoc personal development discussion groups. A lunch box is formed when a group of individuals agree to attend a series of three lunchtime discussion sessions related to a particular theme. One person leads the group, setting the theme and providing a reading list/pod cast/video list that attendees must look through prior to attending each group. At the end of the three sessions, the group must evaluate the value and application of what they have learned, and decide what their next topic could be. This forum is a place to post resources for each session, as well as a place for topic-related discussion. |

Addressing Societys needsThe aim of the Useful Simple trust is to blaze a trail in the integrated, intelligent and ethical provision of the human environment - an aim that can be met in part by ensuring that it is addressing society's basic needs: shelter, food, water, energy, well-being. Think Up's role is then to develop training and education programmes that tie in with these needs. This forum is for discussion about how the trust, not just Think Up, can be active in these domains. |
